We found it hiking in Albania. We couldn't stop thinking about it.

The locals seemed almost amused when we ordered the mountain tea. They shared stories of how it had been passed down through generations — something their grandmothers would insist they drink as a remedy for colds.

On our way back to Tirana we detoured to Shkodër to find the producer. We turned up unannounced and were welcomed in. We came home with a generous collection of their blends, feeling genuinely moved.
