Our teas come straight from Yellow.Fit in Shkodër, Albania — the same small team we met on our travels. We work directly with them to bring their blends to Australia, unchanged from how they're produced at source.
This is the tea that Balkan grandmothers brewed without thinking about it. Sideritis scardica — known simply as "mountain tea" across Greece and Albania — grows wild above 1,000 metres, harvested by hand in summer when the yellow flowers are in bloom. The flavour is gentle and honeyed, faintly herbal, with a warmth that settles you. No caffeine. No blending. Just the plant, exactly as it grows.

Ingredients: Sideritis scardica 100%.
Steep a small handful (2–3g) in 250ml of water just off the boil for 5–7 minutes. Sweeten with honey if you like — the mountain way.
